    Hi pabloquintana, thanks for answering, I was having trouble getting the strap to attach to the trim as seen in the picture below, it kept falling down, but I found a tutorial of a bra strap that said to import the trim as an obj to make it solid, which helped. Now I'm making changes/variations to the pattern/sewing because even though the strap stays in place I can still see that little gap, so I'm trying to improve that now.

    Wilma, you should work with smaller particle distances for small pieces like this. Maybe 2 to 3 mm to have enough geometry to make the folding smooth. Another trick is to change the mesh from triangles to quads as this is a rectangular piece. It will help with the fold.

    Lastly, the invisible space you see between the object and the fabric is the skin offset of the object. Click on the object and in the properties panel reduce the skin offset from 3 mm to something that works for you.
