How to register obj as Puller

Hello,

I have an OBJ fle of a custom Puller and Slider - how I can add this /register it to the library so that I can still use the "zippertool". The only way I found was to rebuild a zipper from scratch but then we do not have the function to for example open it a bit etc.

I checked and wondered how to create a zpl file but did not find this.

As I´d like to use this puller on several garments it would also be faster to register it once and use the zippertool.

  Hi clo,

  .zpl files are a CLO-specific file type for zipper pullers. Unlike other trim like buttons, it is currently not possible to register a zipper as a custom trim. If you would like to use a custom zipper, then you will need to glue it to a fabric surface. What you can do however is if you want to have the zipper slightly unzipped, create the zipper tape with 2 pattern pieces and use the Edit Sewing tool to shorten the sewing line connecting them. Then, glue the custom zipper head to the correct location. So this way you can have the effect of a zipper being undone, you will just lengthen/shorten the sewing line instead of pulling in the 3d window!
