How to create a metal chain like reality?

Cloth simulation in CLO is not meant for imported 3D Objects like trims, or chains. I would create the chain either in CLO or other 3D modeling software and then bring it back to CLO as a trim. It will not simulate so it should come in the final state of where you want it. Check the image below for a zipper set.

pabloquintana Tks for advising, could you share which software you use to create the zipper like your picture and how to attache the fabric to zipper.?

    Hello trungngocsd

Sorry very late response, I noticed today this comment.
The image of the bag you up here is I created, I created all parts with CLO3D,
It is not simple to explain how I did it here,
Please contact me through my website, if you still need a instruction.

Hi kazuyonakano or pabloquintana Do either of you have a suggestion for a good way to do a piece of chain hardware only within CLO? Asking for my students that are not trained in 3D modelling software. I'm wondering about a pattern piece with a graphic/texture image and/or displacement map? I know it's not ideal. Have you tried? Thanks!
