Animation issue from Clo to Cinema4D, Alembic format

Hi,

 

I have been trying to export animations from Clo into C4D (S22) using the Alembic format (have tried both types). Cinema4D keeps producing the same warning that it does not recognise the file type.

I have followed several tutorials on YouTube (Marvelous designer) which seem simple enough. Record the animation - go to export Alembic and then just merge in C4D. But no luck.

Has anyone come across this or had any luck exporting animations from Clo to C4D any other way?

  I have found the the alembic files exported on the Macintosh version of CLO are not readable.  I have had to resort to doing the exports from a Windows app.
