TREATMENT OF 2D PATTERNS AS CAD LINES IN PRINTING Treatment of 2D patterns as CAD lines in printing
Hi
In the transition from virtual to real, the printing of patterns is fundamental.
Based on the physics of the fabrics, the pieces of the patterns do not always maintain the same dimensions to dress an avatar as to dress a real body.
I'm sure that in time this will be achieved.
It would be better to treat the patterns for printing as in the 2D CAD programs.
I send the link to a simple 2D CAD program to study the possibility of implementing the printing options in CLO

In the meantime I'm transferring some errors to correct
The height measurement does not match the selected centimetre units
Changing the units changes the percentage of the scale
In the meantime, my congratulations to the developers and to the whole community of the CLO universe

I am a new subscriber but wanted to upvote this as it was one of the first issues I encountered. I am a patternmaker and wanted to test the plot function and print function and found that there was more than one issue....anyway I hope this is either fixed or in the works!

I also upvote this. Namely, I can't fold the pattern on the half to print so I save paper. Seems like getting 3D into the real world is not a priority, but CLO has come a long way with improving patterning, so let us translate that into the real world printed pattern!
