Avatars and Shopify

I use Shopify for my commerce store. I want to develop my garments on customized avatars. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this. I am looking for a very clean/simple way to upload so that the website can continue to be updated by Shopify instead of having to hire experts to updated the code.
I was curious if this community has ever done that with Shopify. Thank you.
