How to remove the shadow effect on the back side of fabric?

I was making a jacket with folded out collars and raw edges.  The texture of the fabric on both side is the same, but for some reasons in this new version I can't modify the darkness/brightness of the fabric's back side, it just keep turning 2 or 3 tones down no matter what color I choose. Is there anyway for fabric to apprear the same on both sides?

  You need to attach a screenshot. Perhaps you have a mistake and you chose a thin fabric in the display of a 3D view.
