Creating Seam Allowance Following the Dart Cap Shape
Is there a way to create/fill in the seam allowance following the shape of the dart cap? Seam allowances following the dart legs is not production friendly.

Thank you.
I tried to work around and found a not so efficient way. I use trace tool to trace the dart shape and create another pattern. Sew them back together, and then merge. It works!
It is good to know there was an option. Hopefully CLO 3D will come up with the solution in the new update soon.

Hi petiteivou. When you make darts do you use the dart tool? If you use the dart tool to create the darts and then add seam allowance you will see that there are specific dart seam allowance option in the property editor.

Thank you for the answer CLO Designers - Yes I created the dart with the dart tool. However that specific option does not appear. I tried several designs, desinstall CLO and still not there. Are below the options that appear. Would you be able to help out ?
Thank you!

Hi CLO Designers - sent an ask just above but got it now. It is the bottom point of dart that needs to be selected to get the right options ( not the top ones what I was doing before). Thank you!
SOLVED - Creating Seam Allowance Following the Dart Cap Shape

Hi - I do apologise as I am getting back and forth on this topic on creating seam allowance on a dart cap. I managed to do it by clicking on the point at the bottom of the dart but the option does not systematically appear, more often no than yes indeed. I am sharing a challenge, I created a dart on a piece with seam allowance and the seam allowance on dart followed well, when I move the bottom point, then the seam got cut, the option does not appear + if I do ctrl Z it does not come back.
There is probably something wrong in how I manipulate this because it seems pretty instable.
Would you be able to help out please ? Thank you!
