What happens to the data of the Roughness Map when exporting as .obj?
Hi, I am a bit quizzed! I made a very nice garment, with 3D textures I created using the Vizoo scan device. Color, Normal, Roughness maps! When exporting the 3D model as an .obj, for publication in Sketchfab or other software, I saw that the roughness texture file was included in the .zip-file , but the data wasn't used in Sketchfab (= there is no reference to any roughness map in the .mtl file that links the .obj and texture files). Are there file or export settings that fix this problem? Thank you for helping me out! Lien

Hey Lien. From me reading the mtl file from the CLO export, the CLO exporter does not support PBR materials. It only exports the diffuse maps and then values for specular.
You will need to plug in your textures again inside Sketchfab. I'm not sure how did you find the roughness map in the OBJ export, as I believe it only exports the diffuse map.
I don't see this as a big problem as you are opening the OBJ again in Sketchfab and the UV Maps will be maintained during the export, which should work plug-and-play in any other 3D software.

the roughness maps are exported as .jpg-file in the .zip, but you are right- only specular value in de mtl-file. I can plug in the textures again in Sketchfab etc. it only takes more time... But OK for now!
