Change fur angle
Hi!
I am trying to render a pony leather belt with the fur material, trying to obtain something like this:
Unluckily the fur always bends downwards even if I rotate the grainline parallel to the length of the belt and set the fur options to make it quite stiff:
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you!!

Hi, Ponz3D
I'm Robin who is in charge of the rendering and emulator.
I saw your bag design in the CLOLAB! You're good at handling the texture of the bag.
Unfortunately, there is no function that you want in 5.0 version.
We only thought the fur bend in the direction of gravity, so didn't create a UI that control it's direction.
Oh.. This is very stupid.I'll add this function to the 5.1 version. See you~
Best,
Robin

Hi Robin,
thank you :)
would be nice for the fur to follow the grain direction and then if it's long and soft enough to fall also downwards because of gravity as it happens in reality :)
Thanks a lot, I can't wait for the new release!
cheers

Try to turn the belt vertically, then the hair will tend to the ground. Render.
I don't know if the hair is rendered with the direction of gravity. You can try to change it and make a render again.0
