I can't seem to find the "default motion files" the manual mentions
Hi there! I'm running the latest version of Clo for individuals & am just recently trying to learn how to use the "animation" mode of Clo. Per the manual, "CLO provides Motion files for its default male and female Avatars", but I don't seem to have these. "Motion" is not listed in my library and I can't find any .mtn files in my Clo asset files. I can't figure out how to get any of the default avatars to walk etc... Am I missing something hilariously obvious? Is there a way to download them separately?

You can download version 4.2 which includes the older version of avatars that have motion. For new avatars there is no motion. We are waiting.

I see, thank you very much!

The Fabricant provides their walk cycles from their DEEP Fashion outfits with the fashion community for free. They are high quality that were captured by Motion Capture. There is some minimal requirements like give them credit if you use it in production. They just dropped their 5th outfit with motion 6 days ago https://www.thefabricant.com/products

I love the Fabricant, I've downloaded all their outfits! Unfortunately, I still don't know how to get those to "walk" either... I don't see any motion assets included in the files... can you explain like i'm 5?

I could have sworn I saw motion files in their zip files. I'll ask The Fabricant for clarification if they provide the MoCap data or not. Until then there is a pinned tutorial under Tips & Tricks to get Adobe Mixamo animations into CLO. CLO has made a video that shows how to Rig a custom character from Mixamo and Pose that could be translated into motion at https://youtu.be/gL7s_FSshuc

I will check that tutorial out, thank you! Keep me posted on whether you ask fabricant about their MoCap data. : )

Is there a way where we can download those motion file from 4.2 version and use in 5.1 version without downgrading to lower version. Also appreciate if any link can be given where we can download motion file separately. thnx,
