    Personally I would suggest to save out the frame sequence then import into a video editing application. Industry standard for rendering is to save the individual frames. This prevents a computer glitch or power event from corrupting the entire animation file that is being saved. If saving out an animation file a computer glitch would require you to restart the rendering from the beginning. By rendering to frames you would only need to restart at the first loss frames.
