Anyone did a virtual v.s. physical sample comparison before?
Hello all, new to the community and would like to ask this question - has anyone here conduct a virtual v.s. physical sample comparison before?
I am doing one but my problem is that it's hard to capture the correct angle in between Physical/Virtual - i couldn't set my camera distance (e.g. 8 fts away from object) and I have to manually eyeballing the right angle.
Can anyone who has experience able to share with me some insight? Thanks :)

Welcome to the community Annionann. I haven't tried to replicate in real life CLO renders. I certainly have replicated in CLO real life images. That is what most CG artist try to do using reference images.
I haven't found any difficulty trying to get the right angle. I generally use Pureref (pureref.com) as you can overlay the reference image and leave it there while working on CLO.
I don't think CLO has the ability to control de camera location numerically like you would in almost any other 3D software like Blender or 3DS Max.
Eyeball continues to be the only way unless someone else has found a more precise way of locating the camera.

You can set the distance as follows.
1. You can install the sight by clicking on the clothes and pressing F.
2. Go to the settings of the standard camera and set the distance and distortion.
3. Go to the render tab, select the camera, and if necessary, select the advanced settings.
