Confused with Marvelous Designer and CLO

Hi Atek. I was one in your same position, wondering what the difference was. In a nutshell, both are almost the same but CLO is oriented for the fashion industry with the possibility to interchange 2D pattern formats like DXF-AAMA or DXF-ASTM with other 2D CAD software. MD is oriented towards the CG or gaming community.

If you share with us what are you trying to accomplish and we might be in a better position to help you decide.

Thanks for replying. Me newbie for Marvelous Designer. Im doing modelling in Blender from 4yrs. Im a graphic designer and i want to make T-shirt (Jersey) for a client and show a 3D view so thought of Marvelous Designer. But 1 of the video in youtube shown how to export 2D pattern to illustrator. I was happy but as shown in the video i did not find. Then i look below in comments section and many of the guys comment cant find the option. He reply it is possible with CLO. Then i realized that some thing is missing. But the view and the working for both MD and CLO looks the same so i got confused. So i drop the question here. Are both same software or different. Do i have to say bye to MD and stuck to CLO. or any option in MD to export the 2D pattern so that i can work in illustrator and back to MD. Any suggestion or help. Thanks.
