Exact line lengths & sewing
Hi!
I'm currently running the trial version and been trying to understand the software and whether it's worth to keep using it. I've used Blender before and unfortunately I find itt very difficult to do simple tasks here that I could do in seconds before.
My biggest problem now is the line lengths and sewing percision.
Let's say I want to resize the sleeve's inner radius (that's sown to the body part). In Blender it's easy: just select the 3d edges seam and scale it. 2D unwrap etc will follow. In CLO I have no idea how to make it work.
1) I want the body part's hole radius to match the sleeve's radius percisely. The edges are all curved and I don't know how to do it other than manually chasing the numbers with the help of a calculator! I would have to adjust all pieces separately?!
2) Is there any way to select a line (edge) and manually enter its length? Or do I have to keep doing the weird right-click thing and then subtract.
3) Is there a way to match one line's length to another line's length?
like... I don't want to send a blueprint to the factory it the dimensions are just estimated :/
Thank you!

Of course, if you are comfortable in a blender, do it in a blender. Now you have the opportunity to load the mesh as clothes with tracing patterns by uv.
There are many tools for pairing the sections.
First
1. Turn on Shift Z
2. You do not need a calculator, select the desired slices, the properties will indicate the sum of the length of these slices.
3. To check the pairing there is a special button. "Check the sewing length"
4. If you select a line, then in the context menu there is a command to Change length.
These tools are enough to accurately cut in 2 d window. The 3D window has its own tools for measuring length and circles.
This is a typical symptom of the panic of unfamiliar software
Why didn’t they do like in Photoshop? Indeed, in Photoshop it is so convenient, and I know it. ;)This is a very easy to learn software product. True help completely messed up and smashed into incomprehensible sections, from which dizzy.
You can watch help on the site MarvelousDesigner. There remained a structured help. The programs are very similar (brothers)
