well, do you have to create a melange effect from the scratch?

Yes several actually. I want to imitate some melanges. Some are a bit more hektik in theire optic and some really fine. I was wondering if there maybe is a function to change the color of yarns or anything else to make it look like a melange.

well.. as our patterns are not "yarn based", there is no direct way to edit a pattern color to look like a melange.

However, once you have a texture and applied to a pattern, you can distort the texture's color to express the same melange into different colors like pictured below

This may not satisfy your exact needs, but hope this helps! I also have linked some manuals related to fabric's texture in CLO:

You can use sbsar materials to adjust the color of individual threads. To extract textures you need sbs player. Free on the site Allegormitik.
Of course you need a subscription to download any materials. Free only 12 materials.
