How can we help you?

There are many ways to do this. To choose the right path, it was necessary to show the picture of the desired one.
You can use a texture png of transparency, in several layers.
    You can sew physically.
    You can use fur.

    thanks, very useful

it is both kinds you showed I'm looking at. How did you make the fringes: cord type and the green ones (bundle of very tiny threads)

I have to make fringes from the threads out of a textile that was scanned (both types you have in your examples). Any ideas what the best way is to do this.

I think the easiest and quickest way is to add transparency in the right places and save it in png format.

    Hello,

Thank you for these messages about fringes.

I wonder how is the animated rendering for the different ways? How is it acting with transparency?
