Can Clo3d Import Marvelous Designer patterns?

Hello Clo community,

 

I was wondering if Clo3d can import Marvelous Designer Patterns or if Marvelous Designer can save out project files for Clo3d? Any info would be greatly appreciated

  Can. Patterns, clothes, projects, everything can. With old projects there may be problems, but the clothes can exactly

  Oh awesome, is it as simple as opening Clo3d and then opening a marvelous designer project file? Are there any features that are missing from MD to Clo3d? Thank you so much!

  Not a big difference there. For example in MD is a function attached to avatar on line. This will not work in Clo. In Clo has a similar function but different.

  Ah i see, so avatars might have an issue between MD and Clo but if the pattern and clothing is made in MD or Clo, there is no problem bringing patterns and clothes from MD to Clo?

  Also, is there documentation in the tutorials and quick help to import MD patterns into Clo?

  Hey o3rdeyevisiono, as vadsura mentioned, opening MD patterns in CLO is very simple. Just save it as either garment or project file, and open it in CLO, just like how you would open CLO garment or project file!

  Amazing, thank you so much Erica and vadsura!! I'll be testing everything out in the coming days :)

  Im looking for a good workflow for learning clo3d and marvelous designer and at the moment, MD has the most resources online but in the end id want to use Clo3d to actually make the garments in the end.
