Screen & Printer Calibration
Dears, how can I ensure when I share 3D garments with my client that screens and printers in my company and at the client are calibrated the same?
Thanks a lot,
Vincent

Bonjour Vincent!
Most of our clients use following monitors to assure true color: http://www.eizocolour.com/
It will include a tool to calibrate the monitor for the first time.
In the past a lot of customers used a 'colormunki' http://www.colormunki.com/
to color calibrate any monitor. Probably the less expensive solution, but not as accurate.
Also be aware that clients would have to use same monitors or tools to calibrate their monitors.
For printing it's important when digitizing fabric/textures etc. that this is done in color true as well.
Because if the colors are digitized wrongly in the first place, a color calibrated monitor won't help.
This you can achieve with using color calibrating software for scanners for ex.
--> I was quite happy with the following: http://www.silverfast.com/
but their are multiple alternatives.
When you edit textures in Photoshop or any other graphic programm it's important to add a color profile
to your images/files (usually you can select this option when saving).
this way you can assure that colors are not changed even when opening them in other programs. They will be 'color secured'.
Hope this answer helps!

I shall add a question in this subject matter on the screen.
I know, that in Marvelous Designer is support 4к displays. In Clo I can not find adjustments. Very small font for 4к. What now to do? Thanks.0 -
