How can we help you?

    You can reduce the number of render passes. After a certain number of passes, the quality does not change significantly. The most important thing is finding the golden mean.
    There is another way to increase the speed, but to keep quality, this is to buy a more powerful processor.)

    Hi!

    Rendering time can be affected by many factors. Can you share us the screenshot of setting your are using for the render (image/video properties, render properties, and lighting properties) ? Then, I should be able to reduce the render time based on your needs :)

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot!

    Several points:
    1. I guess you lowered the Noise Threshold to improve the render quality. However, please be noted that lowering the Noise Threshold will slow down the rendering speed since the computer needs to calculate more.
    2. The image size you selected > A3 is a big size, which seems pretty normal that rendering time is not as fast. If you need the size to be A3, try lowering down the Resolution (ppi)
    3. To lower the rendering time, I suggest you to adjust the Max,Render Time and check if you satisfy with the render quality. For example, reduce it to 1, and then see its output. If you are not satisfied, try to increase the time to 2. Go back and forth and find out the most efficient time for the render.

    As one of our user @vadsura mentioned, I suggest you to try out adjusting different settings that influence rendering speed and find out what is most efficient for you!

    Lastly, what is your spec for GPU? I see that you chose GPU(CUDA). Are you using NVIDIA graphic card?

    Hey, thanks for the reply. I'll try these recommendations. I'm using NVIDIA Quadro 6000 6GB Card.

    Hello CLO3D team. If I add another GPU card will V-Ray be able to access both cards?

    @pablo quintana

    Adding another GPU card will enhance the V-ray speed. However, keep in mind that we do not support sli or crossfire.

    Thanks Erica. It would be good to have an actual @name service in this forum. I believe it doesn't work like other platforms.

    Regarding the rendering, when you say enhance, you mean actually almost double speed? What about support for external rendering like with rendering farms?

    @pablo quintana

    Yeah.. the @ does not work like other services.. and as we are looking into enhancing our community UI, please hang tight. But, thanks for the feedback.

    For rendering speed, it can be improved by 30% depending on the graphic card. (unfortunately,, not double )

    Hi Erica and Pablo,

    How can I improve my render quality without increasing my render time. Is there something I can change in my settings that could help?

    Thank you in advance :)
