Step 1: Lower the particle distance

Step 2: Deactivate the sewing of the pleat

Step 3: Strengthen the pattern piece

Step 4: Simulate so the folds can form naturally

Step 5: Reactivate sewing

* in this case, there was an error in the sewing and layering of the placket *

  Lower the particle distance of the placket and use the Gizmo to pull the placket forward, Simulate again so it remains on top

* Tip: use the select mesh tool to check your work and adjust the Simulation

Step 6: Delete the incorrect sewing

Step 7: Deactivate, Strengthen, and Simulate

Step 8: Activate sewing and change the Sewing Line Type to Turned in the Property Editor

Step 9: Sew the new section with the Free Sewing Tool and change the Sewing Line Type to Turned
