Dumb question, aside from visual modeling and pattern creation, what value does CLO3D add to manufacturing?
I know that it can create a tech pack but, I've read reviews where it is incomplete and pretty disorganized. Wondering if the patterns are production ready. Also, wondering if going through the trouble of creating 3D models would help the manufacturer any more than a good tech pack?

I recently did an extensive test and the pattern files exported out of CLO and imported into manufacturing platforms are very accurate. They are not necessarily production-ready, as CLO does not require seam allowances. Using a 3D version of a product helps both the brand & manufacturer in that there are less physical samples needed to be produced for approval. Most changes can be made "live" in CLO and then the factory can produce a final, physical sample for approval.
