Updating Graphic Designs on Patterns through Source File Modification
I have a query regarding the updating process of clothing designs created in Illustrator. When I design a specific pattern or motif in Illustrator, I typically export it as a file and then import it onto the garment pattern I'm working on. Suppose that, after having integrated this design into my garment pattern, I realize I want to make a slight change to it. I then go back to Illustrator, make the necessary modifications, and re-export the updated file, ensuring it retains the same name and is saved in the exact location as the original file. My question is: Is it possible for the graphic that has already been imported onto the garment pattern to automatically update to reflect this change, given that the source file has been altered and saved again in the same spot with the same name?
Thanks a lot

Hi gaetang
Yes you can do this in CLO. In order to do this you will need to make sure that the graphic is set up properly in Ai and placed properly on the art board. Then Instead of applying the graphic as a PNG or JPEG you apply the actual Ai file. Then if you make changes you can refresh the texture by R-clicking in the 3D background and selecting Refresh Textures (short cut F5).
