How to go from Clo .ZPRJ file into .ZACS file ?
Hi, I have designed a pair of glasses with CLO. I want to save it as an ZACS file because I want to sell it in clo-set connect, and they have rejected me before because an accessory should be ZACS file. So, I read that in order to save a file as ZACS format, I have to save it as an accessory. But to save it as an accessory, I read that FIRST, it needs to be a .FBX file, THEN save it as an accessory. It's not that kind of file (FBX) since is not an accessory I have brought from other software. Anyways, I did save it as FBX from CLO, and import it again, but when I try to upload the FBX as an accessory, a pop-up window says it failed loading because I need to change the mesh name of the 3D file to *glasses.
What does that mean?

Hi! Thanks fot pointing out that video! I gave me all the answers that I needed when exporting 👏
But solving this issue, made me get to another issue..
Turns out that .zacs file only fits on the avatar in wich I have first designed the glasses on. I can put them on other avatars but there is collapsing with the face, or the head. Is there any way to solve this besides having to upload 15 zacs files adjusting the glasses to each one of the avatars? I can't even change the proportions of the glasses like I would with an obj. This is the avatar that i designed the glasses on.

Hi luisa0258
For sunglasses they will need to be registered for both Male and Female avatars.
But for the images you are showing they use the three different series of avatars our oldest V1 (Dario and Martin), older V2 (Thomas, Nate, Henry, Darnell), and newer V2 (Leo, Jinho, Luka). Each group has a slight variation is their overall facial mesh. Newer V2 avatars have a slightly slimmer jaw, which is why the lower portion of the sunglasses is disappearing into the face of the older V2. For more traditional sunglasses shapes this will not cause an issue, but with a style like yours the sunglasses would need to be made to fit each of the three different versions.
Please note that with the newer releases/downloads of CLO V1 avatars and older V2 avatars have been depreciated. We are now encouraging users to to use the newest avatars and discontinue use of the older ones

Hi, thanks for your answer!
The bad news it that the glasses don't even fit for all of the newer V2 avatars..
Guess there is no way to adjust a zacs accessory into other avatars, other than one by one, right? This means I cannot sell the product in closet connect. 💔
Hope some day there is a solution for this so we have no boundaries when designing.
Thanks for the support anyways!0 -
Hi luisa0258
Thank you so much for the update. I am going to share this with our team so that ideally we can make improvements in future CLO releases for Accessories registration

Hi luisa0258
This is also due to each avatars head having a slightly different skull/bone structure. Just like real humans. While the tool will work for more traditional glasses shapes. CLO is in a way showing how this style would be very bespoke even to IRL humans, since where the clipping is happening would most likely dig into many peoples cheeks/jaws and would also be unwearable0 -
Well.. that's debatible. That wouldn't happen if the accessory is flexible plastic with metalic paint, it would wrap the head around. Anyway I get it, it won't fit the other avatars
