texture colour wont change

texture colour won't change but when I add points to the pattern outline the colour of the fabric applies please advise on how to fix this thank you

  Apologies, but it is not clear to me when the issue occurs. Could you please describe the steps or record a video (and then link it from WeTransfer) of the problem?
