2-way and 4 way lay not working

Hi, 

I am using the latest version of Clo3d (7.1.274.42728)

I am using the lay plan tool in the print lay window. The software is only nests the patterns as 1 way lay, irrespective of what drop down is selected (i.e. if you select 2 way or 4 way lay options) you get the same layout. Is this function broken?

I tried to test the 4 way lay function further by selecting a fabric width narrower than the pattern piece, which should force the pattern to be printed cross grain, but instead I just get an error message saying the fabric width is too narrow. 

Please advise

  Dear rjbeveridge1, the function is not global for all pattern pieces. You have to select them all, and then select 2- or 4-way separately in the Nesting Properties. Then it works!
