Mac i9 vs M1 for Clo3d
Hi, I currently run Clo on a Mac Mini 2018 intel i7 with 32 GB Ram, 2 TB SSD and Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB.
I am going to upgrade and am trying to figure out what will work better for Clo3D:
- Macbook Pro M1 with 32 GB ram, 1TB SSD, 10 CPU/16 GPU
- or
- Macbook Pro i9, 64 GB ram, 2TB SSD, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
I am not a poweruser in CLo3D but I am learning and hoping to do fairly complex outerwear projects in the future. I've been reading a lot about the drawbacks of Macs not having a graphics system that is supported by Clo and that the GPU is unusable but that this can be somewhat mitigated with lots of Ram.
Does anyone have any more insight into this? How would either of the above systems hold up? Thanks

Hello, I have M1 chip pro

And once the simulation activated is very very slow, I'm seriously thinking about going for a new laptop with nvidia graphic card.
