How to Copy a 2D pattern from one Clo3d file to another Clo3d file?

Hi, I have made a great pant pattern and want to use it  in another file where I made a top pattern. How can I copy the 2d pattern from one Clo3D file to another?  I work on a Mac.  Do I have to export it first and if so, what format and where are these instructions. thanks

  barbarasaunders5 you can just add that as a  project  to the top pattern file. File > Add> Project..  and choose the pants project file

  barbarasaunders5  addition to my previous reply, you can also  export the pattern as dxf and add on another file, but if you already sewed the pants on another file, probably it is faster add as a project or garment on another...able to add as a garment, you should save the pants file as garment though.
