Autosewing has stopped working for darts and pleats
Hello! I am currently working on version 6.0.460. I am having a problem with the Auto Sewing Tool. I'm trying to sew darts and pleats as shown in the YouTube webinar. But the Auto Sewing Tool is inactive (screenshot attached). Everything definitely worked correctly on the same project in version 6.0.328.
Is this just a some kind of bug or has something changed in the way the tool works?

If you arrange the pieces around an avatar, does the autosewing become active? It is calculated based on the arrangement points the pieces are put on, so without that information autosewing will not be available!

Yes. Autosewing becomes active and works correctly in this case.

I have to disagree, because according to the information provided in the official webinar, this function can be also used to automatically stitch darts and pleats on patterns that are in a flat state in a 3D window. I mean sewing darts and pleats as shown in this webinar https://youtu.be/jyfAGfcig5k starting from the 59:15 and 1:04:28 minute.
This is what I'm trying to follow in my project and this function worked in version 6.0.328 and stopped working in 6.0.460.

For autosewing, the seamlines are calculated based directly on the bounding volumes where they are placed, which is also mentioned in the webinar at the beginning of the autosewing section.
I checked back with the team, you need to have an avatar added to the space for this other feature to work, even if you do not have the pieces arranged when using autosewing. Once you add an avatar, the Autosew feature should become active! To have pleats sewn automatically, make sure that the fold lines are internals and the fold angles are applied.
