Custom avatar rigging/pose issues
Hi everyone,
I am unsure whether this is a bug or a mistake on my side so I hope somebody can help me with this issue.
I have worked for some time to create a custom mannequin avatar, as I have been experiencing a lot of barriers from the human features of the default avatars.
The rigging, conversion to a CLO avatar, and the making of custom poses have worked. However, now I experience that whenever I use the poses my avatar shifts the baseline whenever the pose is loaded with a garment.
Every time I reload the pose the avatar is moved further down and below the floor of the 3D window.
Hope somebody can shed light of what goes wrong.
Details: Modelled in Blender, Exported as an.Obj, Rigged using CLO's Auto convert to Avatar.
Best regards, Emil

Hi eo3d
If this ever happens you can select the avatar in the 3D window and then R-Click. From the drop down select "Move all avatars and Garments" Then choose to Ground. Your avatars feet should now meet the floor.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the prompt reply.
The issue with that solution is that the shift happens during the pose movement transition causing simulation issues on more complex garments. For example, in this situation:
Is there no other way to avoid the sudden shift of the avatar?
Every time a new pose is loaded, I notice that the avatar is pushed further below the blue dot, which I believe is the indicator for where the avatar should be aligned with the ground.

Unfortunately, this still makes the avatar shift rapidly in height, causing major simulation issues. Could the sudden placement shift of the avatar be a bug related to using custom avatars?

Hi eo3d
Would you be able to record your screen for our reference. You can then send to us directly through our Contact Us page.0 -
Hello! Do you use the clo librarys poses or poses that you've made yourself?
