How can we help you?

Animate trim hardware attached to clothes

    Hello daratfarzad,

    Thanks for reaching out.

One workaround to animate with a trim would be: export the whole belt and the buckle together as an obj format. Then create a transparent pattern piece where you can glue your obj file.

Tack tool would be helpful for this process.

    Hopefully it helps.

    Best,

Hi, CLO Designers I've tried above recommendation. Yet after tacking the transparent fabric to the avatar, at simulation the fabric drapes down from the pins and is unable to hold the trim - In my case I'm trying to hold sun glasses to during animation. The tack to avatar tool is also rather difficult . I'll tack from one angle and it looks connected to the avatar, yet from another angle, it's way off the face. I've changed the fabric to have 0 stretch and adjusted thickness as well. I've also changed the PD from 4. to 2.. Kindly let us know if here is another process or strategy to hold a trim - specifically sun glasses to the avatars face for animation. Thank you!
