MetaHuman is a next-generation digital human creation technology introduced by Epic Games, offering ultra-realistic character modeling and rigging that are almost indistinguishable from reality. Based on high-resolution 3D scans of real people, it enables precise expression of facial features, skin textures, hair, and body proportions, and works seamlessly with Unreal Engine for use in virtual fittings, films, games, and more. Now, CLO allows direct import of MetaHuman DNA data, enabling garment creation that reflects realistic facial structures and body proportions with exceptional accuracy.
📝Note: DNA is the file format (*.dna) used for MetaHuman data.
Prepare the Body and Head files (*.dna) extracted from the MetaHuman Editor (Unreal Engine).
Go to File → Import/Import (Add) → DNA to open the MetaHuman DNA Importer.
Load both the Body and Head DNA files.

Auto Add Arrangement Points
For humanoid avatars only, arrangement points are automatically generated in the import process. Auto Create Fitting Suit
For humanoid avatars only, a Fitting Suit is automatically created in the import process. Axis Conversion
Modifying Object's Axis direction. - A seamless MetaHuman that combines the head and body will be imported as an avatar type.
📝Note:
- Enable Avatar Display → Show Avatar Joint to control the pose in your desired form.
- Create animations by setting keyframes on the joints.
- Applying motion files(*.mtn) is not supported.
