Objective
Create a realistic puffy garment by setting the fill type and weight.
Location
Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Fill
2D Toolbar ▶ Fill
Operation

Click the tool/menu indicated.
- Click the piece to be applied or,
Click anywhere in the 2D window ▶ Drag your cursor to select the pieces within the marquee.
→ The duplicated pieces appear on the mouse cursor. -
Click the position where you place the duplicated piece.
→ The outlines of both pieces are sewn, and the internal lines crossed with them are sewn as well.
→ Display in purple.
- Select any grey quilt lines to turn on the quilting effect.

Click the puffy pattern piece.
→ Filer Property appears in the Property Editor.

Once the puffy properties are set, simulate the garment.
Property
Description Filer Type Choose the type of filler. Weight Enter the weight of the filler.
※Note: Select multiple pattern pieces to set the total weight. The weight of each piece is calculated and distributed proportionally.
Quilting Distance Enter the quilting distance.
※Note: Fill Volume is calculated based on the Quilting Distance and the Weight. Quilting Distance indicates the distance between the internal lines used as quilting lines, and you must input the distance value. If the internal lines are neither parallel nor their distance is constant, please enter the widest value.
