How to Add a Fabric

Select the Fabric tab in the Object Browser

• The Add Button
  • Click Add at the top right. 
  • A Default Fabric will be added.

• The Fabric Library
  • Open the CLO Fabric Library
  • Double Click the Fabric (.zfab) or click & drag the fabric and drop into the Fabric Tab.
  • A Default Fabric will be added.

How to Assign a Fabric

Select the Fabric tab in the Object Browser

• Assign to Selected Patterns Button
  • Select a pattern(s) then click the Assign button to the right of the Fabric.
    → The Fabric is applied to the pattern. 

• Drag and Drop to Assign
  • Drag the fabric directly onto the pattern piece in either the 2D or 3D window to apply it.
    → The Fabric is applied to the pattern. 

 Group Setting (ver 7.1)

• To set Fabric Groups,
  Click the Create New Folder button at the top left of the Fabric tab.
  → A new folder group is created.
  
  
• Click the Add Fabric or Open Fabric Files buttons on the right side of the group to load the Fabric file.
  → A Fabric style is added or opened to the group. 
  
  
• Click the Edit Folder Name button on the left of the group to edit the name.
  Or drag the Fabric style to another group to change the group. 
  

How to Delete a Fabric

A fabric in the Object Browser can only be deleted if not assigned to any pattern pieces in your 2D/3D workspace

• Delete Icon
  • Select the  Delete icon next to the Fabric Item.
    → The Fabric is deleted from the Object Browser

• Delete Option from Right Click Drop Down Menu
  • Right Click on the Fabric to be deleted and select Delete from the Drop Down Menu
    → The Fabric is deleted from the Object Browser

• Delete Key on Keyboard
  • Select the fabric to be deleted and press the Delete key on the keyboard
    → The Fabric is deleted from the Object Browser
