Objective
Create buttonholess along a Pattern Outline in a constant interval and distance.
Location
Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Button ▶ Buttonhole
3D Toolbar ▶ Buttonhole
Operation
- Follow the indicated path below:
Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Button ▶ Buttonhole
3D Toolbar ▶ Buttonhole
- Right click on a Pattern Outline.
→ The Create Buttons/Buttonholes along Pattern Outline window appears.
※Note: To select multiple lines, press down the Shift key and click the lines to be selected.
- Configure below options as needed:
Start Position Distance Set the distance between the buttonholes and the selected line.
Interval Set the distance between the buttonholes and the Pattern Outline.
Reverse The direction of which buttonholes are created is reversed to the Start Point. Replicate Interval Adjust the distance between the buttonholes. Number of Button/Buttonholes Adjust the number of buttonholes to be created.
- Click OK.
→ Buttonholes are created as a group.
- Follow the indicated path below:
Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Button ▶ Buttonhole
3D Toolbar ▶ Buttonhole
- Click on a buttonhole or a Pattern Outline where buttonholes are created.
→ All buttonholes in a group are selected.
※Note: Click again while the group of buttonholes are selected to select a single buttonhole.
- Change selected buttonholes' properties or style or use right-click pop-up menu.
→ Any changes made are applied to all buttonholes in the same group.
→ Group information cannot be copied or duplicated.
※Note: Grouped buttonholes cannot be moved.
- Follow the indicated path below:
Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Button ▶ Select/Move Button
3D Toolbar ▶ Select/Move Button - Right click on the buttonholes or the Pattern Outline and select Unlink Buttons/Buttonholes.
→ The link between the buttonholes are removed.
