Objective

Compare the length of two segments of different Patterns in real-time by temporarily aligning each other. 

Location

Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Walk Pattern

2D Toolbar ▶   Walk Pattern

Operation

1. Follow the indicated path below: 
   
   Main Menu ▶ 2D Pattern ▶ Walk Pattern
   
   2D Toolbar ▶   Walk Pattern
   
   
2. Click on a point or a part of a pattern outline.
   → The point or the part of a pattern outline is selected and an arrow appears in between the selected point and the mouse cursor.
   
   
3. Click on a point or a part of a pattern outline of the pattern to be compared with the one selected at step 2.
   → The preview of the pattern selected at step 2 moves next to the clicked position.
   
   
4. Move the mouse cursor along the pattern outline:
   → The preview moves along the pattern outline.
   → The length of the segment appears at the center of the yellow guideline.
   
   
5. Hit enter on the keyboard to complete pattern-walking.
   
   

 ※Note:  

• During pattern length comparison, right-click to set options for adding notches to Walked/Stationary Pattern, Move Walked Pattern to Intersection and Flip Horizontally (ver 6.1).
