Objective
In the 3D window, easily establish Sewing Lines on segments of Patterns or Internal Shapes/Lines.
Location
Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Segment Sewing
2D or 3D Toolbar ▶ Segment Sewing
Operation
- Follow the indicated guideline below:
Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Segment Sewing
2D or 3D Toolbar ▶Segment Sewing
→ All sew-able segments are bolded.
→ All Sewing Lines appear in both 2D and 3D windows. - Navigate to the 3D window.
- Click once on the Pattern Outline to establish the first half of the seam.
- With the mouse cursor, hover over the segment to be sewn to the first half of the seam.
→ When moving the mouse cursor, a blue point appears indicating the length of the first half of the seam. - When the mouse cursor is moved close to the blue point, the Sewing Line snaps to the point (ver5.1.0).
Drag the mouse to make the the Directional Notches parallel to each other. Then, click to establish the second half of the seam.
※ Note
- When Directional Notches are crossed, the Sewing Lines in the 3D window are crossed as well. When Patterns are simulated at this state, either one of the Patterns is reversed and then sewn to the other Pattern.
- Use the shortcut to establish M:N Sewing Lines. For more detail, please reference M:N Segment Sewing.
