Objective

Plot 2D Patterns to manufacture real garments.


Location

Main Menu ▶ File  ▶ Plotter


Operation

Plot Patterns

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below:

    Main Menu ▶ File  ▶ Plotter

    Case 1) When above option is selected in the Print Layout Mode:
    → The 2D Snapshot window appears.

    Case 2) When above option is selected outside of the Print Layout Mode:
    Following error message appears: "Mode will switch to Print Layout as patterns need to be arranged to fit the paper size." Click OK.
    → The 2D Snapshot window appears.

    Case 3) When above option is selected outside of the Print Layout Mode & Fabric has no applied texture:
    Following error message appears: "Texture must be applied to a Fabric to switch to Print Layout mode." Apply a texture to a fabric and try again.
    → The 2D Snapshot window appears.
      

  2. Refer to below table and select lines and information to be plotted.

    Option
    Cut on Outline Toggle on to cut Patterns on its outline or seam allowances. Line Select lines to be plotted.
        Info Select information to be plotted.
  3. Select Plotter.
    → Patterns are plotted to the configured plotter.

※ Note: 

  • When Cut on Outline is selected, notches on Patterns will also be cut (ver5.0.0.)

  • Select the Serial Port for the Plotter in the Other Setting (ver5.0.0).

  • Navigate to Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Plotter ▶ Save (Only Available in Windows) or
    navigate to Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Export ▶ Plotter (PLT) to save as a .plt file (ver5.0.0.)

    Hi,
    I am trying the beta version and can't plot. Driver are not recognize by clo. it works with other applications like photoshop or A-Illustrator.

    hi,
    i have 2 questions for plotting.
    -how can i get it to print the size that it is plotting on each piece?
    -how can i plot all sizes at one time un-nested

    Could the same or similar process be used for direct to fabric digital printing of exported patterns with embedded/saved images ?
