Editing Buttonhole Bind Position
Changing Button/Buttonhole Item
- Select or move buttons or buttonholes in the 2D and the 3D Window.
- Choose the Select/Move Button tool from the 3D Window.
- 3D Window
- Choose the Select/Move Button tool from the 3D Window.
- Navigate to the 3D Window. Then, click and drag the button to be moved.
- To easily and precisely move or rotate the button, click on the button to access the Gizmo tool.
- Click and drag green arrow to move the button vertically; click and drag red arrow to move the button horizontally.
- Click the blue arrow and drag downwards to pull the button forwards; click the blue arrow and drag upwards to push the button backwards.
- Click and drag the yellow box to move the button freely.
- Click and drag the green circle to rotate the button in X-axis; click and drag the red circle to rotate the button in Y-axis.
- Click and drag the blue circle clockwise or counterclockwise to rotate the button respectively.
- 2D Window
- Choose theSelect/Move Button tool from the 3D Window and navigate to the 2D Window.
- Click and drag the button to be moved.
- To move the button with specific values, click and drag the button, and then while holding down the left button of the mouse, right click once.
- When the Moving Distance Window appears, enter the desired values in Distance Moved or Position to designate the location.
- Choose the Select/Move Button tool from the 3D Window.
- Navigate to the 2D or the 3D Window to select the buttonhole to be moved.
- Click and drag to move the buttonhole freely.
- In the 2D Window, right click while moving the buttonhole to access the Moving Distance Window.
- When the Moving Distance Window appears, enter the desired values in Distance Moved or Position to designate the location.
- Button
- With theSelect/Move Button tool selected, click on the button to be rotated.
- The selected button’s property will appear in the Property Editor.
- Enter the desired value in Angle to rotate the button.
- Or, click on the button in the 3D Window. Then, rotate the button using the Gizmo tool.
- Buttonhole
- With theSelect/Move Button tool selected, click on the buttonhole to be rotated.
- The selected buttonhole’s property will appear in the Property Editor.
- Enter the desired value in Angle to rotate the buttonhole.
- With the Select/Move Button tool selected, click on the button to be edited.
- In the Property Editor, the selected button’s property will appear.
- Enter the desired value in Thread Length to adjust the offset distance between the button and the 3D garment.
Editing Buttonhole Bind Position
- With the Select/Move Button tool selected, click on the buttonhole to be edited.
- In the Property Editor, the selected buttonhole’s property will appear.
- Adjust Bind Position to decide on which edge of the buttonhole the button will be fastened to.
Changing Button/Buttonhole Item
- Button Item
- With theSelect/Move Button tool selected, click on the button to be edited.
- In the Property Editor, the selected button’s property will appear.
- Expand the Style drop down menu and choose desired button item. - Buttonhole Item
- With theSelect/Move Button tool selected, click on the buttonhole to be edited.
- In the Property Editor, the selected buttonhole’s property will appear.
- Expand the Style drop down menu and choose desired buttonhole item.
- With the Select/Move Button tool selected, click on the button to be edited.
- In the Property Editor, the selected button’s property will appear.
- Toggle on/off Collision.
- When Collision is turned off, the selected button will not be calculated for collision and be fixed at the location that the button was created.
