Scaling Segment with Pivot Point Activated
- Move, rotate and scale point and segment.
- Navigate to the 2D toolbar and hold down the Edit Pattern tool as the Transform Point/Segment tool will appear below.
Rotating Segment
- Rotating Segment
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be rotated.
- The selected segment will be highlighted in yellow as a marquee box appears.
- Hover the mouse over the scale point on top of the marquee box. The mouse cursor will appear as a rotating wheel.
- Click and drag the scale point towards the desired direction.
- The segment will rotate around its center.
- Rotating Segment with Pivot Point Activated
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be rotated.
- The selected segment will be highlighted in yellow as a marquee box appears.
- Double click on the Pivot Point located at the center of the marquee box.
- The Pivot Point will be activated as it is highlighted in orange.
- Click and drag the activated Pivot Point to where the selected segment’s rotation should be centered on.
- Hover over the scale point on top of the marquee box. The mouse cursor will appear as a rotating wheel.
- Click and drag the scale point towards the desired direction.
- The selected segment will rotate accordingly centering on the Pivot Point.
- Scaling Segment Manually
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be scaled.
- The selected segment will be highlighted in yellow as a marquee box appears.
- Click one of the scale points and drag towards the selected segment to be scaled.
- Scaling Segment with specific value
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be scaled.
- The selected segment will be highlighted in yellow as a marquee box appears.
- Click one of the scale points and drag towards the selected segment to be scaled.
- As holding down the scale point, right click on the mouse. The Transform pop-up window will appear.
- Type in desired PERCENTAGE and DIMENSION, and then hit OK.
- The selected segment will be scaled accordingly.
Scaling Segment with Pivot Point Activated

- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be scaled.
- The selected segment will be highlighted as a marquee box appears.
- Double click on the Pivot Point located at the center of the marquee box.
- The Pivot Point will be activated as it is highlighted in orange.
- Click and drag the activated Pivot Point to where it will be the center of the transformation.
- Click one of the scale points and drag towards the segment to be scaled.
- The selected segment will be lengthened or shortened centering on the Pivot Point.
- Scaling Segment with specific value
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click on the segment to be scaled.
- The selected segment will be highlighted as a marquee box appears.
- Double click on the Pivot Point located at the center of the marquee box.
- The Pivot Point will be activated as it is highlighted in orange.
- Click and drag the activated Pivot Point to where it will be the center of the transformation.
- Click one of the scale points and drag towards the segment to be scaled.
- As holding down the scale point, right click on the mouse. The Transformation pop-up window will appear.
- Type in desired PERCENTAGE and DIMENSION, then hit OK.
- The selected segment will be lengthened or shortened centering on the Pivot Point.
- Moving Point/Segment Manually
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click and drag the point/segment to be moved.
- Move the point/segment to desired place in the 2D Window and release the mouse to complete the movement.
- Moving Point/Segment with specific value
- Select the Transform Point/Segment tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Click and drag the point/segment to be moved.
- As holding down the point/segment, right click on the mouse. The Moving Distance pop-up window will appear.
- Type in desired value and hit OK.
- The point/segment will be moved accordingly.
