Duplicate to Symmetric Pattern

Objective

Copy and paste tack.


Location

Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Tack ▶ Edit Tack

3D Toolbar ▶  Edit Tack


Operation

Copy/Paste Tack

  1. Follow the indicated guideline below: 

    Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Tack ▶ Edit Tack

    3D Toolbar ▶  Edit Tack


    → The Garment becomes translucent.

  2. Right click on the tack to be copied and pasted.
    → The right-click pop-up menu appears.

  3. Select Copy 
    → The selected tack is copied.

  4. Access the right-click pop-up menu again on the copied tack.

  5. Select Paste or Mirror Paste.
    → Preview of the selected tack follows the mouse cursor in 2D and 3D windows.
    → Any tack outside of the Pattern do not appear in the 3D window.

  6. Click the desired location to paste the tack.

  7. In order to paste the tack at an exact location, right click on the 2D or 3D window when the preview appears. When the Paste window appears, configure below options arbitrary.

    Option Description
    Interval Set the distance between copied tacks.
    Number of Shapes Set the number of tacks to be pasted.
    Position Set the paste location (only available in 2D window).
      Left Set the distance from the center of the tack to the Pattern outline on its left side.
      Right Set the distance from the center of the tack to the Pattern outline on its right side.
      Up  Set the distance from the center of the tack to the Pattern outline on its top.
      Down Set the distance from the center of the tack to the Pattern outline on its button.

    → The tack is pasted according to the setting.

    ※Note: Any tack outside of a Pattern cannot be pasted.

Duplicate to Symmetric Pattern
  1. Follow the indicated guideline below: 

    Main Menu ▶ Sewing ▶ Tack ▶ Edit Tack

    3D Toolbar ▶  Edit Tack


    → The Garment becomes translucent.

  2. Right click on the tack to be duplicated to Symmetric Pattern.
    → The right-click pop-up menu appears.

  3. Select Duplicate to Symmetric Pattern.
    → Selected tack is duplicated to the exact same location on its Symmetric Pattern.


    ※Note:
     Select tacks need to be within the same Pattern in order to be duplicated to their Symmetric Patterns.
