Register an avatar accessory file or convert a pattern into an accessory.

Open the avatar file to register an accessory.

Click Main Menu » Avatar » Register Accessory.

After setting the options below, click the Save button.
Menu Description Basic
Rigging Type
Select whether the accessory to register is defined for the CLO default Standard or if it utilizes a general Rigging method.
- Standard: Registers accessories according to the types defined in the CLO default avatar.
- Rigged: Registers rigged accessories without a specific type. When loading the file, joints with the same name as the avatar's will be automatically merged.
Accessory Type Select the type of the accessory.(Hair, Shoes, Earring, Glasses)
📝Note: This can be selected only when the rigging type is set to "Standard."
Object
Select the type of the object (file and pattern) to register.
You can load and select objects in the 3D window and adjust their positions directly.File
Select the path to the hair and shoe files to register. Scale/ Axis Conversion Change the size and axis of the loaded file and check it simulatenously. Pattern Select the pattern you want to convert to the accessory.
However, the pattern to be converted must be created in advance before the accessory registration is proceeded.📝Note: After selecting the pattern to be converted to an accessory, you can also right-click the 3D pattern ▶ Convert ▶ to Avatar Accessory menu.
Option Mirror Creation If you register shoes and earrings, it automatically creates the opposite object. Inverted relative to the central axis of the avatar. Thumbnail Auto Apply the thumbnail image automatically. Custom Apply the desired image as the thumbnail. - Click Save button to save as the Avatar Accessory file.

Set Accessory Type to Shoes » Heels in Register Accessory window.

When opening a shoe file, CLO will automatically differentiate between the left and right shoes.

For heels, follow these steps to ensure a proper fit:
3-1. In the 3D window, click on the heel meshes of the shoe.
If the heel has multiple meshes, select them all at once by clicking and dragging to define the area.
3-2. Right-click and click Set as Heels. If incorrectly set, right-click and click Unset Heel.
- Click Save button to save as the Avatar Accessory file.
