Transform OBJ Trims
- Transform OBJ files loaded as trim as needed.
- Select the imported OBJ file loaded as trim and select the Scale button hovering over the trim.
- Select the OBJ file loaded as trim and navigate to the Property Editor.
- Via the Scale Gizmo
- Load an OBJ file as a trim.
- Click on the OBJ and select the Scale button on the right top corner.
- The Scale Gizmo is formed with three axes and one square.
- Select the Scale button again to complete the transformation.
- Axis
- Click and drag the x-axis to transform the OBJ trim along its x-axis.
- Click and drag the y-axis to transform the OBJ trim along its y-axis.
- Click and drag the z-axis to transform the OBJ along its z-axis. - Square
- Click and drag the square to transform the OBJ, maintaining its x,y,z dimensional ratio.
- Axis
- Via the Property Editor
- Select the OBJ trim to be scaled.
- The selected OBJ’s properties appear in the Property Editor.
- Find and adjust properties under the Scale (Local) menu as needed.
- Scale (Local)
- X: Type in the value to transform the OBJ trim along its x-axis.
- Y: Type in the value to transform the OBJ trim along its y-axis.
- Z: Type in the value to transform the OBJ along its z-axis.
- Lock Aspect Ratio: Transform the OBJ file while maintaining its dimensional ratio.
- Scale (Local)
