Question
Can I use my own accessories (hair, shoes, etc.) for CLO Avatars?
Answer
You may import personal accessories into CLO as OBJ, FBX and other 3D file types, but they won't be automatically placed where the Avatar's hair or shoes is. To use personal accessories as CLO's hair and shoes, some advanced configuration need to be made in other 3D tools such as Maya.
If you would like to use accessories other than default items, please check out the CLO Marketplace.
should i use 3D tools also to make foam pads bra accessories?
@indahmanullang, not necessarily. You can create foam pads and bra accessories in CLO as well. Try to look for some references in our Community:

Also, suggested articles (they don't exactly show how to create bra accessories, but you shall can see the possibility)

Practically have the opportunity to create their own avatars
and it’s possible to create your own accessories for them. For example from DAZ.
See an example of such a project on YouTube.

Hello!! I know there's a way for importing shoes created from yourself.
I'm struggling with it ... I'm creating the shoes directly in CLO3D exporting them as fbx but then I have a problem with "mesh name" I'm asked to name the single item as right shoe and left shoe but I'm not understanding ...
Could someone please help me??
I'd really love to solve this problem cause I know many people are using clo to create shoes.
thank for helping me.
If it helps I use other 3D softwares as blender, C4D and Houdini...
Hello,
I have been trying now for quite sometimes to create shoes. IMPOSSIBLE. I may not be a pro in Maya 3D but I definitely know very well as an expert my way around that software since a few years. I recently tried again. Whenever I create simple pumps and import in CLO 6 all I get is "Failed to make a hair/shoes file. The position doesn't match the avatar". Because I am stubborn, I even tried to import in Maya the original FV2 Open_Toe and then re-import in CLO 6 as fbx file. Exactly the same message as above "Failed etc etc." which means it is DEFINITELY an issue with CLO and importing fbx/obj and other files. Any way to solve this? Make a clear step-by-step tutorial? Btw, if the exclusive of creating shoes/hair must only be reserved to few elected is it possible at least to add in the package a pair of pumps for FV2 and tall boots for MV2 avatars. Beside the recent addition of sneakers, those shoes provided by CLO have been there for ages. Thank you.
