Important Note for Students

Eligibility for a CLO Free Trial
The web-based CLO Trial License is strictly reserved for hobbyists, freelancers, self-employed individuals, or single-person companies who qualify for a CLO Individual License under our Terms of Service (2.2.1).
*Enterprise & Academic Organizations: Please reach out directly to the CLO Business Development Team via our contact form to request an appropriate institutional trial license.
How to Start Your Free Trial
You must sign up first if you don't have a CLO account yet.
- Initiate the Trial: Click Start for free at the top right of the CLO website and select Start free trial, or click Get started on the Pricing page.
- Select a Plan: Choose between a monthly or yearly plan. Any applicable coupon with the highest discount will be applied automatically, or you can manually enter a coupon code. (Your selected plan will automatically activate once the trial ends.)
- Billing Information: Enter your billing address (if not already saved), check all three agreement boxes, and click Continue.
- Payment Method: Enter your payment details (credit card or Alipay) and click Start trial.
Note: If your payment information has previously been used with another CLO account, the transaction will fail. In this case, click SKIP Trial to proceed.
Download & Install: Download the installer for macOS or Windows from the order completion screen to start using CLO. If you have already downloaded the trial software previously, you can access the installer anytime on our Download page.

What happens after the CLO free trial expires?
Your paid subscription will automatically activate once the 14-day trial ends. You can cancel your trial prior to the expiration date to prevent any automatic charges.
How can Enterprise and Academic entities obtain a CLO Trial License?
Since standard web trials are strictly for Individual Licenses, Enterprise and Academic entities must contact the CLO Business Development Team directly through our contact page to receive a tailored trial license.
Do I need to verify my student status to get a CLO discount after the trial?
Yes. Student status verification must be completed prior to launching your free trial. If you skip this step, you will not be able to apply the student discount to your subscription later.

Im using MacOS Catalina 10.15.5, and when i tried to open the programme, a window pops out saying "“CLO_Standalone_OnlineAuth” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software."
