- Temporarily harden Patterns while simulating the 3D Garment.
- Strengthen when folding or straightening Patterns in the 3D window.
- Use the 
Transform Pattern tool to select patterns, right click, and select Strengthen.

Mac Shortcut: Ctrl + L (ver5.0.0)
- When the Patterns are strengthened properly, they turn orange.
- The Patterns will temporarily gain strength and express clean folds where fold angles are applied.
- To unstrengthen the Pattern, use the Transform Pattern tool to select Pattern, right click, and select Unstrengthen.
