Split

- Split a single segment into multiple segments by entering specific values.

- Select the  Edit Pattern tool from the 2D toolbar.

- Right-click on a segment to be split and select Split from the pop-up menu. The Split Window will appear.

- Select and modify below options as needed.

• Split into Two Lines
  
  - Follow the instruction above to open the Split window.
  
  - Select Split into Two Lines.
  
  - Enter desired lengths or ratios for LINE 1 and LINE 2.
  
  - Select OK.
  
  - The selected segment will be split based on the setting.
  
  
• Split by Length
  
  - Follow the instruction above to open the Split window.
  
  - Select Split by Length. 
  
  - Enter desired values to Segment Length, Number of Segments, and Direction.
  
  - Select OK.
  
  -  The selected segment will be split based on the setting.
  
  
• Uniform Split
  
  - Follow the instruction above to open the Split window.
  
  - Select Uniform Split.
  
  - Enter desired values to Number of Segments.
  
  - Select OK.
  
  -  The selected segment will be uniformly split based on the setting.
