Normal Map
- Normal Map
- Apply Normal Map images to express uneven texture more realistically.
- Adjust Intensity
-Select the fabric item from the Object Browser.
- Navigate to the Property Editor and expand the Material ▶ Texture to see its child menus. Then, expand the Normal Map option as well.
- Adjust the intensity of the Normal Map using the Intensity option.
- When the Normal Map Intensity values is adjusted from 0, CLO will automatically create a Normal Map and express the texture more realistically. - Apply Normal Map Images
- Via Property Editor
- The custom made Normal Maps can be applied to the fabric items as well.
- Select the fabric item from the Object Browser.
- Navigate to the Property Editor and expand the Material ▶ Texture to see its child Menus.
- Click the
icon next to the Normal Map. The Open File browser will appear.
- Locate the desired Normal Map image and click Open.
- Adjust the intensity values to express the texture more realistically. - Via Drag & Drop
- From the PC’s Browser window, drag and drop a Normal Map image to the Browser button next to the Normal Map option.
- Via Property Editor
- Apply with Desired Map Type
- From the PC’s Browser window, drag and drop an image file to an object where the image should be applied to.
- The Texture Map Type window appears. Choose the desired Map type and select OK. - Save Auto-generated Normal Map
- Normal Map generated when adjusting Intensity can now be saved.
- Adjust the Intensity under the Normal Map option.
- Navigate to Main Menu ▶ File ▶ Save as ▶Surface Textures and locate the saving path.
- Select Original size or Crop size when saving.
- The Normal Map can be saved when exporting as OBJ,FBX,LXO.
※Note: Normal Map and Roughness Map are retained even if Texture is deleted.(ver.4.2)
