- Select and edit Sewing Lines in the 2D window.
- Select the Edit Sewing tool from the 2D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to the Main Menu and select Sewing ▶ Edit Sewing.
- With the Edit Sewing tool selected, click on the Sewing Line to be selected.
- The sewing Line will be bolded.
- When there are multiple Sewing Lines on the selected Pattern outline, pop-up menu showing all Sewing Line options will appear.
- Use the color chip in front of the Sewing Line name to choose the desired one.
- The Sewing Lines are ordered in an ascending order, arranging the latest to last.
- Select and drag the center of the Sewing Line.
- When the selected Sewing Line is on a symmetric Pattern, the second half of the Sewing Line on its symmetric pair will be moved simultaneously.
- Adjust Freely
- Select and drag one end point of the Sewing Line towards the desired direction.
- Only the selected half of the Sewing Line will be adjusted. To match the sewing length of the second half of the Sewing Line, repeat the same process as above. When adjusting the second half of the Sewing Line, a blue point will appear guiding the length of the first half of the Sewing Line. - Adjust with Designated Value
- Select and drag one end point of the Sewing Line towards the desired direction.
- While holding down the mouse, right-click to access the Moving Distance window.
- Enter the desired distance the point will be moved.
- Access Right Click Pop-Up Menu
- Right-click on the Sewing Line to be edited to access the pop-up menu.
- Select All with Same Property
- Use this option to select all Sewing Lines with the same property.
- Fold Strength
- Select all Sewing Lines with the same Fold Strength value. - Fold Angle
- Select all Sewing Lines with the same Fold Angle value.
- Fold Strength
- Reverse Sewing
- Reverse the direction notch of the selected Sewing Line. - Delete Sewing
- Delete the selected Sewing Line.
- Right-click on the Sewing Line and select Delete Sewing.
- When deleting a Sewing Line, its pair will be deleted as well.
- Use this option when directional notches are twisted. - Merge
- Merge Patterns based on the selected Sewing Line. - Add Point to Pattern on Start/ Add Point to Pattern on End
- Add points to the Pattern outline based on the start or the end point of the Sewing Line.
- The point near the directional notch is the start point and the point far from the directional notch is the end point. - Deactivate Sewing (Selected)
- Deactivate Sewing Lines to disable their functions.
- When the selected Sewing Line is deactivated, it will turn white.
- When the Simulation is activated, the Patterns with the deactivated Sewing Line will no longer sewn to each other.
- To activate the Sewing Line again, right click on the Sewing Line and select Activate Sewing. - Hide Sewing
- Hide Sewing Lines in the 2D window.
- When the Sewing Lines are hidden, they will no longer appear in the 2D window.
- To show them again, right click on the Sewing Line and select Show Sewing (All).
