Piping Right Click Pop-Up Menu
- Select and edit Pipings on 3D Garments.
- Select the Edit Piping tool from the 3D toolbar.
- Or, navigate to and select Main Menu ▶ Materials ▶ Piping ▶ Edit Piping
- With the Edit Piping tool selected, click on the Piping on the 3D Garment.
- The selected Piping will be highlighted in yellow.
- With the Edit Piping tool selected, click and drag either end of the Piping towards the direction it will be abridged or extended.
- With the Edit Piping tool or the Select/Move, click the Piping on the 3D Garment and navigate the Property Editor.
- The selected Piping’s properties will appear.
- Name
- View and edit the name of the selected Piping. - Line Length
- View the length of the selected Piping. - Width
- View the length of the selected Piping. - Particle Distance
- View and edit the Particle Distance of the selected Piping.
- The Piping’s Particle Distance is set as 1.5mm by default.
- Narrower the Piping’s width is, smaller the Particle Distance should be. - Hide
- Toggle on or off the Hide checkbox to hide or show the selected Piping.
- The Piping will appear translucent when theEdit Piping tool is activated, but it will disappear when other 3D tools are activated.
- Fabric
- Change the fabric material for the selected Piping.
- The options appear in the list are the fabric lists in the Object Browser.

- With the Edit Piping tool or the
Select/Move tool, right click on the Piping to access the right-click pop-up menu.
- Delete
- Delete the selected Piping.
- Select the Piping and hit the Delete key on the keyboard. - Refresh All Piping
- Re-drape all Pipings on the 3D Garment.
- Use this to re-simulate Pipings that distorted while simulating the 3D Garment. - Deactivate
- Deactivate the selected Piping.
- Right-click again on the deactivated piping. The Deactivate option should have changed to the Activate option. Select Activate to activate the piping. - Freeze
- Freeze the piping to exclude it from the simulation.
- Right-click again on the frozen piping. The Freeze option should have changed to the Unfreeze option. Select Unfreeze to unfreeze the piping. - Quadrangulate
- Change the Piping’s mesh structure to rectangles. - Triangulate
- Change the Piping’s mesh structure to triangles. - Hide
- Hide the selected Piping.
- The Piping wiil appear translucent when theEdit Piping tool is activated, but it will disappear when other 3D tools are activated.
- To show the hidden Piping, select theEdit Piping tool and right click on the Piping. The Hide option should have changed to the Show option.
- Select the Show option to show the selected Piping. - Show All Piping
- Show all hidden Pipings.

Why can't I have my all over graphic run across piping? I'm trying to create a rolled hem effect, but the piping tool only allows me to change the fabric and nothing else.... :-(
